Today, I am thinking and acting for myself. Today, I am choosing for myself. This past year has been an awakening for me. Both my parents passed away and grief quickly took over my life. But today, July 4th, 2021, I am doing something I have always wanted to do - Open my own bookstore. Albeit, it's not brick and mortar where book lovers can drop by drink coffee, touch the books, smell the books and sit for a spell, it is a place where I can meet new people, discuss books, and just choose to be me. So, for this opportunity I say thank you to everyone who has ever touched my life, every book I have ever read, but most of all to my mom - who instilled in me the love of reading - especially murder mysteries. HAPPY 4TH! :)
